Okay, para illuminating proparious vayikra. So we enter a new kish, a new section of the Torah and the mishkang is built and now it is time to put the mishkun into operation into service. And so say for Vayikra the book of Leviticus um Leviticus like from the word wavy and uh which is priests the kohanim and uh so deals much with and actually the the so deals much with and actually the the way that the sages refer to as toas kohanim the uh the Torah of the of the kohanim because much of it deals with the temple service the service in the mishkun the carbonos. So I want to just begin with one perspective on Carbanos. There are many um but if we're going to be talking about carbonos offerings sacrifices then uh let's let's begin with at least one one perspective and that is what Rh has to write about it. that is what Rh has to write about it. So interestingly I tried to translate the word carbon. Um I suggested offering which we often say or sacrifice and uh Rahers specifically although he wrote in German and this is just an English translation uh writes that he's not happy with either of those translations. So I put on the source sheet reverse says it is most regrettable that we have no word which really re reproduces the idea which lies in the expression carbon. The
