[Music] shalom alaikum dear friends it's such a humbling opportunity to get to share a bit of my heart with you and i want to thank rival klein and the lost princess initiative for reminding us every day about the lost princess thank you so much so how do you define depth of torah what i mean is that we've all had you know similar experiences somebody might come to you and say wow i just want the deepest thing in the world you know there's something the most amazing zohar the most amazing gemara so what is it about um what they learned that means so much to them and maybe not so much to you how do you measure depth of torah is it based on on you know intellectual complexity maybe i you know they got something intellectual that i didn't really i didn't appreciate enough and then therefore i couldn't really appreciate it as much as they did is it depended on on how esoteric the concepts are says something that i really i really relate to and um he says that the depth of your experience is completely defined by how much it touches you in your heart how deep is the torah that you learn well how deep is your experience the depth of the torah that you learn is completely dependent on the depth of your experience of it the deeper you feel it the more powerful the more it touches you the deeper the torah is that you are learning so somebody might be learning elephant and it's touching them the deepest way and so they're learning the deepest around the world and somebody might be learning the zohar and it touches them in such a deep way and they're learning the deepest around the world it's not the information that is deep it's being available emotionally and and
