which are so thank you first of allak for joining me thank you so much really as a pleasure to be here I've been a long time listener of the podcast so it's very special to be here with you now okay so let's start off a little bit about your tell tell the listeners a little bit about yourself and your background sure um I grew up in TK New Jersey uh in a Rabin home uh so really surrounded by SAR my father has a very large sarm Library so was always uh grow with that kind of influence uh I studied in in Israel cab for a few years and in in Israel cab for a few years and then I came to Yu where I got my ba and my ma in Jewish studies and also my SM um and I started my doctoral Pro the doctoral program there in PhD medieval Jewish history uh then I moved to Philadelphia where I was the rabbi at University of Pennsylvania upen for five years um while there I did a big chunk of my uh my graduate work of my my cour work studed with some of the professors there and then I moved back to New York City back to the heights where I became the rabbi at Mount s Jewish center and
