wish everyone a good and hope you enjoy the episode hi everyone welcome to another edition of the chatter podcast on this episode of the podcast I'm going to be joined by Rabbi mosha Walter who is the r of the Woodside synagogue avas Tor and is the executive director of the rabinal Council of greater Washington and we are going to be discussing a fascinating and uh subject um RAB Walter wrote has written a number of books including the book that discusses these topics called the of a minog the laws and parameters of Jewish Customs published by felim he's also Customs published by felim he's also published two other books one called the making of a mench the laws and parameters of interpersonal Mitzvah and one is the making of a decision the laws and parameters ofak so thank you Walter for joining me thank you for having me a pleasure to be on your Let's Start Tell the listeners a little bit about yourself and your background sure sure so as you said I've been now in Silver Spring greater Washington for close close to 14 years uh we moved from KES where we spent uh we moved from KES where we spent close to 10 years um and interestingly enough my sort of introduction to writing I don't know you speak to many authors um I don't know if this is conventional or unconventional I'll share with you um but I never intended to write a book I never intended to write two books or three books and I'm now I'm working on a fourth book actually um but toward the end of my time in the I started jotting down notes and speaking to many people were asking
