[music] >> It's loving grace. This is Laser Brody with the Mona hour. This is our second lesson in the book of Ruth. Uh as we promised, each lesson we do a quick review on the previous lesson, so in case you're new to our four series part that prepare us for Shavuot, progress to learn a working knowledge of the book of Ruth, which is very interesting. Not only does help us prepare for Shavuot, only does help us prepare for Shavuot, but it's the key to Messiah. Let's us understand what's happening now in the world and in the land of Israel. Okay, so last week in part one, we learned about what happened to the Jewish people when they came out of 40 years sojourning in the desert. Uh Moses, he gave the leadership to Joshua. Joshua brought the people into land of Israel. Uh Joshua, Moses, he was the continuing leader after Moses. Uh Moses' prime student and disciple. And Joshua led a 14-year And Joshua led a 14-year uh campaign, seven years of war with the Canaanite nations and seven years of settling each person in their inheritance. Every tribe got divine they got their inheritance in the land of Israel. And within each inheritance, every clan got their own particular parcel within the inheritance. So, every family and every clan was busy uh were were busy with settling the land of Israel and building their own farms, building their own homes. Now, what we had and the Torah tells us as long as
