My name is Jonathan Rosen Bloom. I'm a columnist in Israel and the author of 12 or 13 books, I'm not exactly sure. This is 18 questions from 40 Israeli thinkers for 1840. We'll begin where we always do. As an Israeli and as a Jew, how are you feeling at this moment in Israeli history? This very moment, it goes, it fluctuates so quickly that it's very hard to tell. If you ask me on Thursday night a week ago, I was Thursday night a week ago, I was exhilarated and frightened. If you ask me on Moz Shabas, uh, pretty excited. If you ask me right now, I'm a little bit confused. I don't know what this ceasefire is is about. It seems to me that there are a lot of open-ended questions that haven't been resolved yet, like what to do with is the Iran, what have the Iranians agreed to do with respect to their nuclear program. And I guess all that's sort of hidden. I don't know what discussions have gone on. And there were no uh news reports of any discussions between Iran and the United discussions between Iran and the United States. So as usual, everything here is always on a boil and so uh fluctuating. My mood is fluctuating but generally generally good. I mean in general over the past uh we have seen a large-scale destruction of uh Iran's capabilities and we've seen basically the noose that was around Israel's neck for the last 15 years of this ring of fire of enemies uh
