[Music] foreign [Music] especially to all of the newcomers to the lpi broadcast list it's so phenomenal to have you with us we're so excited as we embark on this new series in our hasidah's daily program in the safer maya shiloh from the mordechai yosev of ishbits in today's teaching a classic from the helicopter that states geduilla musa yosemili muda literally this means that the shimousha saltara sort of assisting torah scholars right shimusha saltera being engaged being involved with those who study torah is yo muda is even greater than the actual study of torah shimusha sotara can also mean to be meshamish meaning to say to learn in a more practical way how the torah is applied vis-a-vis how it's actually learned out of a text to be able to see the living text of it that's shimusha saltara but it's sadiq says something completely different very classically says you know what is it that is going to assist in our engagement with anything what is it that's giving us that drive to compel us to really invalve ourselves with something with complete commitment and total involvement it's the rust zone for that thing it's the desire for that thing that's called shimusha shaldavar that's the shimusha of something there's the thing and then there's what compels us into engagement with that thing which is our desire which is our rats on for it and so that sadik says you know hazal are really intimidating are hinting to us in their words gedola musa
