and pleasure of studying two Parshas. This week we will be reading Tazria and Metzora. If you love the topic of tzaraas, you get not a single but a double helping of the sigya of the story of the lessons of the laws of tzaraas of spiritual leprosy. We begin Tazria page 608 in the ArtScroll Stone Chumash. The Torah tells us "Vayedaber Hashem el Moshe lemor, dabber el benei Yisrael lemor isha ki sazria veyalda zachar. Vetama shivas yamim kimeni nidda devosa titma." We talk about a woman who conceives. Isha ki sazria veyalda zachar. And she gives birth to a baby boy. So the law is that she is considered impure for seven days. On the eighth day of Shemini Yimol besar orlaso. The eighth day we know is the baby's bris on the eighth day. If the baby comes out C-section, cesarean section, that's not called v'yolda zachar. That's a surgical procedure to remove the baby rather than a natural birth of the baby. And therefore, when is it b'yom hashmini yimol b'sar orlaso? When is it on the eighth day that one does a bris and it supersedes the laws of Shabbos? If the eighth day falls out on Shabbos, that the bris overrides, supersedes Shabbos, even though implicit included in a bris is a violation of Shabbos, that's if it's a natural birth. That's if v'yolda
