In some ways they're almost incompatible because rashash shana says start, get going, new year ro everything follows the beginning, the head and shabas says slow down. Shabas shabas means to stop. Rashashana says take responsibility. You control. you're in charge and Shabbas says let go. You don't don't do we're at peace is in charge of the whole world and Shabas Rash says decide you're gonna and Shabas Rash says decide you're gonna do with it and Shabas says right we create the kadusha we determine the holiness says it's it's already in place doesn't take you it's ready whether you're ready or not it's already in place whether you're here it's fixed into creation the calendar set shabas comes so in these ways they really are two sides of a coin maybe even a tension between them. But what I want to suggest to you as we're getting ready for the shabas getting ready for rash is that the truth is that
