Judaism is more of a family or a nation than a religion. So in other words, even if a person strays very far away from Judaism, technically they're still Jewish. A Jew, even though he has sinned, is still Jewish. Even a lapsed Jew is still Jewish. And what that means is still obligated in everything in Judaism, but Jewish he still is. [Music] and welcome to Torah Talks Kazak's program with special guests. We have with us all the way from Pis, New Jersey, our dear friend. Welcome. How are you? Thank you very much. Pleasure to be here. Thank you for inviting me once again at the Khazak headquarters and we're going to be speaking about the rabbi's famous book, Gateway to Judaism, the what, how, and why of Jewish life. But before we get to that topic, we got a little background and met the rabbi and the good work, great work that the rabbi does. So, how far back do you want to go? Uh I um teach at Yeshiva University full-time in the Torah department. Um and uh we have a program JSS which is for guys who have limited or no background in Judaism uh from guys from all over the world literally. Um and uh so I teach for them. I also teach in another program at YU called IBC Isaac Buer College which is for guys
