good evening ladies and gentlemen goodbye and shavua tov welcome back to the boca raton synagogue community conversation each year before we recite slicos on slicos night rather than only hear from your rabbis your teachers your educators we try to bring members of the community together so that we can hear from the community itself and we're very privileged tonight to be able to welcome a distinguished panel of community members who really represent a cross-section of the community and who represent different experiences different experiences of going through corona to be able to hear from one another to be inspired by one another to draw physic from one another to understand and relate to what one another have gone through we're still a couple of our panelists are having some technological problems but please god we'll be back on with us shortly so let me in the meantime introduce dr etan marcus my dear friend atom and i actually grew up together in teaneck new jersey we've known each other probably our whole lives and uh dr marcus is not wearing that mask and doesn't have that background for special effects he's doing so for special effects he's doing so because he's an icu doctor he's currently actually at the hospital and he's joining us live from the hospital what's on welcome uh my hero mr martin judaven martin it means the world that you're with us martin can you hear us i can't hear you not my good okay to you thank you so much for being here martin is a longtime member founding member of the boca raton synagogue who is one of all of our heroes a survivor of the holocaust a man of
