we are at Yeshiva University's Museum standing outside of one of those fascinating exhibits what's the name of the exhibit the golden path maimonides across eight centuries the golden I tried to remember but I didn't the golden path maimonies across eight centuries at the Yeshua University Museum a fascinating overview of the life Legacy and impact of the rambam Otherwise Known AKA maimonies and we're standing here with the curator what's your title on this I'm a guest curator the guest curator our friend Dr David scar thank you so much number one for taking the time to do this this is an incredible exhibit tell me how did this come about did you have all the stuff this was hanging out in your basement if only so it goes back about 15 years when I moved to New York I was working um for a number of years in the special collections of the Jewish Theological Seminary Library there this is the greatest Judaica collection that's ever been assembled I know you did a video there yeah yes um while I was there I was cataloging material working with Scholars and also co-curated exhibitions with Sharon Lieberman men's Sure no uh at some point Sharon works a lot with collectors and at some point she told me that there was a collector in Chicago by the name of Bob Hartman okay who is singularly focused on maimonides manuscripts and rare books and he wanted somebody to write about his material and she knew that I could do that because we'd worked on exhibitions before and I
