Welcome. This week we're going to do partials Ben Has. So let's begin with um a few weeks ago we read partials Koirach. Partial Koirach we read the whole story of Koirach, his rebellion, and then the end the earth opened up and swallowed them. The whole story in partials Koirach. Now we know that Benai Koirach lo maisu. Koirach's children did not die. So I took like an informal survey and I asked a number of people, all kinds of people in Yeshiva, not in Yeshiva, I asked to them when does it say that Benai Koirach lo maisu? And most people said it's either a Medrish or a Gemara. But it's not. It's a possuk in the Torah. Where's the possuk? Parshas Ben Has. Let's take a look. So after the beginning with Ben Has then the parsha goes on to a census. We have a census of every shavet. Tells us about the shavet, how many there were, and it gives you the total number of people in the shavet. So the first the first one is Ruvein. So it tells what Ruvein and his children are. And then um Benai Palu and Eliav. The Benai Eliav Nemu'el, Dasan, and Aviram. Dasan and Aviram were the children of Eliav. Who Dasan and Aviram created? Ashare hitzu al Moshe v'Aharon, b'adas Koirach. Vatifta'ach ha'aretz es piha vativla esam b'adas Koirach. Benai Yitzhar Koirach, that they all died. The earth opened up and Dasan and Aviram and the whole adas Koirach, they all died, they went down into the earth. U'venai Koirach lo maisu. This is where it says. when they caught out my soul. What is it doing here? It's doing first of all
