co-directors of the habbalahovich of northwest Connecticut which is located in Litchfield Connecticut so I want to share something interesting about habad the word habad is actually an acronym so um and that's what it means understanding wisdom understanding and knowledge wisdom Bina means understanding and Dot means knowledge so I I recently just learned that I didn't know that the word habad was an acronym but it is and as co-director of the but it is and as co-director of the Chabad of Northwestern Connecticut Robinson Mina helps to run the Chabad Hebrew school where each Jewish child is welcome regardless of their affiliation religious observance or prior knowledge and she also hosts holiday programs women's learning groups and ahabad women's book club thank you so much for being here please tell us more about yourself and what you do I am so happy to be here and um it was so nice to have you pop into Shull a few weeks ago um we love visitors because we're a Small Town Connecticut we have a lot of New York weekenders who live near us New York weekenders who live near us um and are um I want to say like what we do in is not a typical Chabad house where like we have all these different programs going it's very much focused on the individual we live in a very rural area um for example Fridays my husband spends at the farmers market selling challahs um not because he needs to make a few dollars from the holidays but more just to meet people and the people who will never come to show um and that's that's pretty much what we're there for we're there for whatever
