[music] >> Is that a sham? Welcome to Amona News with your host laser Brody. Today's podcast is entitled the war of Amona and this is understanding the Iranian conflict. Well, to understand the conflict the current conflict with Iran, we have to examine recent history that a lot of people have forgotten. So let's go back 25 years to the Taliban war in Afghanistan that followed the Taliban destruction of Twin Towers in New York that the United States did not defeat the Taliban. US forces had a short-term success in ousting the Taliban regime from its control of Afghanistan in 2001. But the Taliban bounced back in a very resilient Insurgency that led to a 20-year bloody war with America lost 3,000 troops and spent nearly $1 trillion. But what did they get for those losses? Absolutely nothing. President Trump made a deal with the Taliban in 2020 and President Biden in 2021 honored that deal. Not only that, but he made a hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan that left a vacuum in power and there was a void that the Taliban quickly filled and ousted the Afghanistan the American puppet government in Afghanistan and they seized control. We ask ourselves, where did the Taliban get its strength from? That the United States military both in manpower and weapons had a tremendous advantage over the Taliban. And anyone who doesn't believe in their version of faith is subject to death and
