The Shulchan Aruch in Hilchos Gimmel on the title Yoshe'in has a quite an arichus on it, like 3 or 4 pages. I think it's page 58 and on. And there are a number of areas in Halacha where this comes up. Somebody Somebody sleeps with his tallis katan. Someone goes to sleep. There are some people who have a custom l'chatchila to sleep in a tallis katan. Even those of us who don't have the custom to wear a tallis katan when we sleep, but sometimes it happens that a person is exhausted and he just falls asleep in his clothing. So he wakes up in the morning. Do you make a bracha on the tallis katan or not? You slept with it all night. Do you make a bracha with the tallis katan in the morning? So here, it says in the Shulchan Aruch that when you get up in the morning, before that, you make a bracha for the new mitzvah of tallis for the new day. You make a bracha even though you were wearing it non-stop without a hefsek. You make a new bracha when you get up in the morning. The Taz analyzes this psak and he says the following. I DO NOT IF THERE IS A MITZVAH OF TZITZIS at night. Is there any mitzvah to wear tzitzis at night? So it's a machlokes the Rambam and the Rosh. A very basic machlokes. The possuk says "U're'isem oso l'mu'tei tzitzis l'layla."
