Tractate Hagiga Chapter 2 Mishnah 5 From here on out from this mishnah to the end of the tractate, the tractate deals with the laws of impurity and purity. Since Tractate Hagiga actually also deals with our sacrifice on a pilgrimage, as we learned, then in fact many of the laws of impurity and purity belong here. The tractate is already deviating from all kinds of laws of impurity and purity. The Mishnah says, Mishnah 5, "He who takes into his hands for the holy and for the tithe and for the offering and for the holy of holies and for the sin offering, if his hands are defiled, his body is defiled."
