Do you believe that Obama was ever the president of the United States? Do you believe that? Why do you believe that? Were you there at his inauguration? Answer is you don't have to be there. If there's a claim that there were a million people present, then you can't pull something off. Can't pull off a stunt like that with such a claim. Someone, one of the eyewitnesses, is going to get up and say, "No, I wasn't there." So, the giving of the Torah was authenticated authenticated by two to three million Jews. You can't pull something like that off unless it actually happened. And therefore, Shavuot commemorates the most important day and the most important moment in world history.
