Okay. Good afternoon, [clears throat] dear friends. Welcome everyone to come down to the Kallah Aggravated Perca. Monday afternoon national shear. Welcome everyone. We're continuing the subject. The amazing topic of UFOs, extraterrestrial beings, and space travel, contemporary Halakhic analysis. Uh this is very interesting topic, very contemporary topic. Actually, this past week the government started a new site. It's called Alien Aliens Among You. And they wanted people to think that there are extraterrestrial beings, but they're not referring to that. They're referring to illegal aliens. So, I just want to clarify. This topic is We're not referring to illegal aliens. These are legal aliens, but not wanted aliens. We're talking about extraterrestrial life, life from on other planets. Last week we saw two conflicting opinions. We saw on the one hand the opinion on of the commentary on the Safer Yetzirah from Rabbi Yehudah ben Saloni who definitely acknowledge the possibility of life on other planets, intelligent life on other planets. And he even seems to have acknowledged that maybe it's possible that there is a Torah out there. On the other hands, we have the opinion of Hasdai Crescas. And he says um that in his opinion he does not accept the possibility of life on other planets. So, we saw these two conflicting views. Um I I'm sorry. Rav Hasdai Crescas also, in his opinion, he said there's nothing and according to a Jewish theology that precludes the possibility of life on other worlds. So, we have the opinion of Hasdai Crescas, the opinion and the very first opinion on this topic, Rav uh Yehuda Barceloni, who acknowledged the possibility and on the opposite extreme, we have the opinion of Rav Yosef Albo, the author of the Sefer Ha-Iqqarim. He is of the opinion that the whole universe was created for man. Because of that, only man possesses free will.
