[Music] let me start with what you can't do you can't go to your daughter and tell her you can't be friends with that person because children that age identify with their friends and all you're going to do is make that girl defend that friend and for sure strengthen her connection with her so that's not an option um it depends how bad of an option um it depends how bad of an influence this girl is on her what is she causing her to do if it's a really terrible influence I would want to find out why my daughter is gravitated toward somebody who's pulling her in such a negative way it could be it's not the friend that's a problem it could be that the daughter has a tremendous problem why she wants to associate with such a girl but it usually is not thata that case and uh usually uh the girl may not
