[Music] with hashem's loveing Grace tonight's lesson is entitled guarding our amuna it's the third and final part of discourse 35 Torah 35 okay uh Reb he taught us in lesson one of Torah 35 that the human brain is similar to a computer and just like a computer has a certain memory capacity so does our brain and people are professionals are careful to keep their hard dis clean keep things that are that they don't need to keep it cleaned off to keep the memory capacity very clean the same thing goes for the brain uh when we keep the brain clean of all types of clutter and all types of things that are unproductive that we don't need then the memory capacity can be used more for Holiness serving AEM re going a step further rabi nmed told us that a baby's brain develops by Holiness and by what's so-called wisdom's Dark Side that's really stunts the brain and it continues on throughout life throughout that the brain uh the are the brain houses the nisham of the soul and really as we learn continuing on that the intellect and the Soul we learned that in the second part of tar 35 it's it's actually one entity so what's good for the brain is good for the soul what's good for the soul is good for the brain when the soul gets wholesome information then the brain thrives okay so RAB nakan also taught us that in that respect we have to guard our intellect from extraneous Concepts things we don't need and especially those of uh elude and agnostic content content now it's bad enough to be a couch potato to sit in front of just watching so-called innocent movies it's a waste of time waste of brain power it's passive the
