[Music] tonight batem we're beginning a brand new discourse Torah 33 Section 1 and tonight's lesson is entitled in peace with yourself discourse 33 it's one of my favorites because it gives you such calm and such inner happiness and this is what rabman is's the master of Happiness the master of calm and the master of amuna so and we're going to learn that until people discover how to find peace within themselves then all the amenities in the world won't satisfy them it's like King Solomon said NE the soul can't be satiated what do he mean that the soul can't be satiated the soul can't be satiated by physical and material amenities it needs something else and this is what we're talking about and this is the way tonight to find true lasting inner Tranquility okay so Reb nak Begins by uh quoting a verse in Psalms that we learned in in our lesson Psalms Psalm Psalm 34 verse 13 and he says King David says who is the person who desires life who loves days of seeing good who desires life this is the rabbi is Mayor Kagan who wrote the famous book about guarding our tongues he called it the named after this particular passage because it desire life it's one way you desire life then you speak good about other people don't speak bad about other people even more that it's about yourself you feel good about yourself here's how to feel good about yourself so Reb teaches us he starts off and if you're following along in the Hebrew we go in the Hebrew and then translate into English Shalom reab says the general rule is first of all if a person wants to find inner peace he has to seek peace
