[music] [singing] [music] [singing] [music] >> Good evening from the south of Israel. Baruch Hashem, welcome to another lesson in Rabbi Nachman's teachings. Tonight's lesson 137. We're learning Rabbi Nachman's discourses and tonight, b'ezrat Hashem, we'll learn discourses 19 to 23. It's also important that for this is with Hashem's divine direction, exactly what we're learning is what we need to know for Rosh Hashanah, Baruch Hashem. Okay, so for our own survival and sanity, Rabbi Nachman says we have to hold on tight. In discourses 19 and 23, he talks about holding on tight to two different things. Holding on tight to our happiness. I'm sure you're saying, "Well, I don't feel happy. How am I supposed to hold on tight to that happiness?" Well, we're going to learn that tonight. And b'ezrat Hashem, hold on tight to our spiritual guide, to the tzaddikim, the righteous people righteous leaders in this generation, that they are lamps to our feet. And just as we learned last night in the four types of humility, that the first type of humility is we have to be humble toward the people greater than us and specifically our own righteous spiritual guides, b'ezrat Hashem. So, we open up Sichot Ran, Rabbi Nachman's discourses, to 119. I'm reading from the Hebrew and free translating, but you can read along
