Thank you everybody for joining us uh this evening uh for our class. This week's para is paras kukas on page 838 in the arts school um in the Hebrew and 839 in the article Kumash in English. Um tonight's class is being dedicated for Shalma for faith father Mosha Ben Esther. Um and he should have a speedy recovery. Um so um all the learning that is being done um all the learning that is being done should uh be as afa should be a merit for for Shalma for her father um and um we are ding and learning. Okay. So parasukas starts off it's it's a pretty full para para like every para but not like last para where the majority of the par last two paras actually the majority of the para was sort of one story. um then sort of then offshoots of that story. Parasukas is sort of goes back to um a typical paro where the various different things going on and uh let's put that on silent. Boom. I'm sorry about that. Um okay. Um so uh so yeah so that's so starts off with God spoke to Mosh saying this is the the Torah. Now we we've touched upon this idea before that there's a a there's different types of mitzvah right there's a which a is a mitzvah a decree the little translation is a decree where hashem did not reveal the the reason behind it right um and then there's mitzvos where the god did reveal the reasons behind it um and those are sort of the two basic categories there's others there's positive negative and and and and positive comm positive commandments and negative commandments, right? But one of the one of the categories are right,
