Um we always learn Torah, but you know, sometimes our schedules don't allow us to have the class. Uh but I'm glad that you're all here. Uh so we are starting the book of Dvar, right? The the the book of Dvar, the fifth book of the five books of Moses. Um, and the every year we give just a quick introduction. I know we've talked about this in past years, but just a very quick years, but just a very quick introduction. The book of Dvarim, Dvar literally comes from the word, speak, right? These are the words. These are these are the the words that Moses spoke. That's what the word means. And the reason for that is we know that it's not the name of the book and it's the name of the whole cafer the name of the para is not just oh it's the first word okay that's what we're going to call it right it also has a deeper meaning to the what this book or what this safer is supposed this book or what this safer is supposed to be accomplishing right and and really this it really has to do with these are the words the whole book of dvarim majority almost the whole book of dvarim is mosher raenu speaking Right. Most raenu talking Mosher Rabenu giving over to the Jewish people sort of his last will and testimony to a certain degree. Right. Um when Mosherenu it's the end of the 40 years right the whole all the the whole previous generation passed away. It's everybody that's ready to go into the land of Israel is here and Moshe
