Thank you for joining us on this beautiful Friday morning and if Shabbat Kodesh as we are entering not only Parashat Emor, but today is also a Jewish holiday. Anyone know what holiday today is? Today, my friends, is Pesach Sheni. So, happy Pesach Sheni to everyone. Yes, we eat matzah. I just had some downstairs. I should have maybe brought some up, but we have matzah today in memory of Pesach Sheni. And this is the second Pesach. Sheni. And this is the second Pesach. What does that mean? The second Pesach. Today's the second Pesach. It all actually um is recorded in the Torah. The story is written in Parashat Beha'alotecha. And the history of this holiday of today actually goes like this. There was a group of Jews in the wilderness, in the desert. And they um you know, we were in the desert for 40 years. Anyone know in those 40 years how many times the Jewish people kept the many times the Jewish people kept the holiday of of Pesach? I keep saying passover, passover. I'm confusing the two. How many How many times did the Jews keep Pesach in the 40 years? Anyone know? We kept Pesach once. Very good. One time. One time, the first year. The first year we were told to keep Pesach to anniversary. Actually, for the next 39 years we didn't do korban Pesach. And not only that, but even when we went in
