[music] And tonight's lesson with Hashem's loving grace is entitled the seeds of Messiah. And the way our it's going to be burnt tonight will be our overview of the book of Ruth. And hopefully we can start uh chapter one. There are four chapters in the book of Ruth and then the next three weeks will be sub chapter 2, chapter 3 and chapter 4 and this is an unbelievable preparation for the hag of because on we read the book of Ruth okay so first of all when it start talk about a nice lesson with Hashem's loving grace we're talking about the seeds of Mashiach how Mashiach comes to the world and what Hashem has to do to bring Mashiach to the world and this is all indicated in the book of Ruth Okay. So, we start with an overview of the Jewish people coming out of Egypt. What happened? They came out of Egypt and because of the sin of the spies and they didn't want to enter the land of Israel, there was a decree that everyone in that generation uh would not be allowed to come into the land of Israel including Moses and Aaron. only two people, Joshua and Khalev, because Joshua and Khv were only two spies that remained loyal to Hashem, to the land of Israel, and they didn't say slander about the holy land of Israel. Okay? So, the rest died in the desert. So, now we have on the banks of the Jordan River about to cross over into the land of Egypt, the entire Israelite, the Jewish people, uh 600,000
