So this fellow says he lives in a difficult neighborhood, and the music is blaring at night. There were no air conditioners then, windows are open, and he just walks out and he yells, just yells at anyone indiscriminately and he goes, Come on, keep it down, okay? I have kids sleeping. A few minutes later, there's a pounding at the door. Bang! And this man is standing there in shorts, holding a can of beer and an undershirt, his flaming red face. He says: You know who I am? Um, um... no. I work for the Department of Sanitation. I’m a supervisor. And he goes: Oh. And right away he said to him, I didn't realize you worked for the Department of Sanitation. I would have never yelled at you. I'm so sorry. Wow. And I see you on the street all the time, I just thought you're a regular person. I didn't realize who you worked for. All of a sudden, he goes, You know, just... just talk to me. You got a problem, chill out, I’ll talk to you. And since then, he's his best friend. He protected his kids, if people on the block started up with them. Because every time he walked by, he’s like, I never knew. I never knew you worked for... Now, I'm not belittling anyone that works for the Department of Sanitation,
