newspaper um that is credible but then to look at other newspapers and see if they say the same thing what do you say for the argument that it was that the Torah is just one uh one medium uh for truth that perhaps there aren't any other sources telling us that this happened and therefore we can't use it as a credible Source okay this is very important um two things to be said here first of all your point can be Tak in first of all your point can be Tak in two different ways and both of them have to be answered first of all should we say without external collaboration I don't trust Just One Source well what are we going to do with the witnesses with Peter and Paul all I have is these two people no videotapes no mangled body no dented belt buckle no I have no other evidence I don't dismiss them on the grounds that I don't have other corroborating sources I don't do that there are cases when one source of information can be a credible source information can be a credible source based on its record of being credible so if the suggestion is without corroboration I never trust the source that's for sure not correct your parents your parents tell you what you did there's no external corroboration doesn't mean you should throw out everything they say if they prove to you that they're reliable reporters you should trust what they say simply not correct that I always need another corroborating uh Source but if you say why aren't there other collaborations weren't there other ancient Traditions didn't they have records why is that our story isn't
