Today, I am very happy to have on today's show Rebbit and Lisa Cook. Rebbit and Lisa is a director of operations for the Cincinnati Jewish Experience. She received her BA in communications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and completed her post-graduate studies at the University of Melbourne and Tel Aviv University. After marrying her husband, Rabbi Seth Cook, and having a baby, the Cook family headed to Indiana University to expand the Aish campus branch there. After spending four years in Bloomington, Indiana, and another seven years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, working with Jewish college students and young professionals, the cooks moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where they are building CJX, Cincinnati Jewish Experience. Rebbit Lisa is very involved in Jewish outreach education, and hosting meals and events, running trips to Israel and Poland, teaching classes, organizing programs, and engaging in meaningful conversations with Jews from all backgrounds and ages. Rabbit Lisa also teaches the mikvah. She teaches mikvah education to Jewish women of all backgrounds and levels. She works as a mik mikvah attendant at the Cincinnati community mikvah and is part of the Cincy Habraadisha. And she's currently in the third cohort of the core MMC program led by Rebbitson's Alisa Bulo, Debbie Greenblat, and Rahul Goldbam.
