um interesting that our last chapter talked a lot about rosh chodesh right the meal with david and so at the end of last chapter at the end of chapter 20 peric we read about the painful separation between david and his best friend jonathan sticks behind with his father sha'ul and he's going to try and help david you know sort of from the inside but he just cannot go with david to where he needs to go and david and jonathan separate to go and david and jonathan separate and that's how chapter 21 opens and now we begin a set of chapters which talk about david's travels where he ends up his different places that he goes in his escape from the wrath of sha'ul and what happens in those different places will be very interesting and the first stop that we're going to talk about in this chapter is the stop in nov nov is the city of the kohanim it's where the mishkan currently resides after its destruction in shillong it moved over to destruction in shillong it moved over to nov temporarily that's where the kohanim are as we'll see through this chapter and the travesty will not happen in this chapter it will happen in next chapter in chapter cafe but the seeds will be sown in this chapter for the unfortunate [Music] mass killing on the part of sha'al of all of the kohanim in the city of nov so let's read together chapter 21 is short but has a couple of important things to bring out we may even be able to creep into chapter 22
