Good morning. In this aliyah, we read about how moves on from his brother Isav makes his way deeper back into Kan and we read about the genealogy of Isav's family. Along the way, we read a very strange puk uh an act of of Reuven committed against his father. The puk hints to the idea that committed adultery against his father which is a very difficult thing for us to read because right after that for us to read because right after that it says that is he's still the eldest in Yakov's family. He's still part of the family and he maintains his standing as that way up until the end of the book of when Yakov blesses him. Yes, rebukes him but does keep him together with the rest of the family. We learn a very powerful lesson from Yakov. Yakov saw what his son did and committed an act against him.
