Hakadosh Baruch Hu gave us eyes to look and a brain to think. It's going together. When we see something, we are thinking about that. We have a big, big mission in our life to keep our thinking with Kedushah, with holiness. To think pure, to think about Torah, about Mitzvot, about good deeds. When, God forbid, we don't keep our eyes, we see things that we don't have to see, we think about that. So our Machshavah, our thinking, becomes impure. And then when we learn Torah, we cannot reach a high level. We don't have enough Divine assistance. Because of that, Our sages always teach us to take care of the thinking. Like the Pasuk said, And you shall not stray after your heart and after your eyes.
