okay good morning everybody hope everybody's well happy monday today's boost is dedicated in the merit of davor rosalinski it's her birthday thank you from so many of your friends for all your teaching challah hebrew hosting and all that you do for the jewish people from your friends i'd like to add to that i know mrs rosalinski she's a superstar some of you have a wonderful birthday and thank you for what you do for everybody and for your amazing son yesterday we started down the road of sort of delving into the the limitations of the physical world one in that it's inherently limiting the pleasures that we get from the physicalness of this world will end it's limiting because physical is limited and secondly is the more you get it the more your brain orients around it and as a result the more you need to maintain the same level of satisfaction so if you get a brand new anything the beginning of the experience is new and unique and there's variety and your brain is making all these new connections and it feels amazing stay doing that thing for a long time at some point in order to maintain the same level of gratification you need to up the ante you need to increase the pleasure so not only is the physical world limiting when you're done with that thing when you're done eating that food when you're done on that vacation when you're done doing anything physical it's over from the mid it's a downward escalator
