Okay, good morning, everyone. Thank you for joining us on this beautiful Thursday morning as we are first of all wishing everyone a Rosh Chodesh tov. Tonight is Rosh Chodesh Iyar. Rosh Chodesh Iyar, the second month of the year if we're starting from Nissan. My grandpa used to say Iyar stands for Ani Hashem Rofecha. I am God, your healer. May Hashem let it be a month filled with healing for all of Am Yisrael. We all know people, we have Yisrael. We all know people, we have friends, family, loved ones. Hashem should send a quick refuah shleimah Hashem complete healing physically, emotionally, mentally. Amen. My friends, sometimes [clears throat] a sickness, sometimes a sickness, sometimes there is a physical ailment that is on the outside of a person's body. And sometimes it could be just superficial. It could be nothing. A little bruise, you hit the wall, and that's all it is. Wait a few days, and that's all it is. Wait a few days, and it it's going to be gone. And sometimes, unfortunately, the bruise is much more serious, and it's revealing something going on deep inside the person. And our parashah, of course, tells us about one such ailment. It is called the tzaraat. The tzaraat, on a very superficial level, it looks like it's something physical, a little white leprosy on the skin. Go to a doctor, and you'll be healed. and you'll be healed. But the Torah says that this leprosy is much deeper than just the skin. It actually says in the pasuk literally the affliction is deeper than the skin. That means that it's not just skin level. The problem isn't just superficial on the outside. Put some cream. Torah is saying that there's something very deep going on over here.
