welcome to america's top represents may this class be for refugee leima for alec batsara and for leotovia binhaya ashna i'm so happy to have on today's show rabbits and yohabit goldberg rebbe's in your habit is a rabbitson of the boca raton synagogue in boca raton florida the boca raton synagogue is the largest orthodox synagogue in the southeast united states so that's amazing thank you so much for being here please tell us more about yourself and what you do hi thank you for bringing me on your show it's uh a really special initiative show it's uh a really special initiative that you've taken on i think it's wonderful and important and it's always good for everyone to get to know uh the rabbitsons out there so uh for sure you it's wonderful i'm joking goldberg i'm originally from new york from lawrence and i uh got married 24 years ago my husband and i we went to i grew up in a very typical from community from home and uh you know was involved in a lot of different um youth groups and uh definitely involved youth groups and uh definitely involved with people in high school and post high school i went to nicaragua for seminary and uh for a year and a half and then i went to queen's college and uh wartzweller for social work i have an msw and then i met my husband um the summer before i started sportsweiler and then we were dating he was in yu i was on the yu campus from my social work school so we were able to see each other here and there and uh we dated for those a few months and then we got engaged my whole ward swallower situation was me dating engaged married and then ended
