Again, today's daf is Chulin daf tzadi. We are picking up with daf peh tes amud beis, a few lines from the bottom. Just a quick recap of what's going on here. The Gemara is focusing [snorts] on the line of the Mishnah. The line of Mishnah says "Gid hanasheh is not eaten in Eretz Yisrael in chutz la'aretz when there's a Beis Hamikdash, when there's no Beis Hamikdash." And then it says "Uvein Hamikdashim", it's also relevant to consecrated animals. The Gemara wants to consecrated animals. The Gemara wants to know what is the kodesh, what is the great novelty about that idea that it's relevant to mukdashim. And the way the Gemara frames the question, which was yesterday's daf, was how could you think that if something was asur when it was not consecrated as an as a as a carbon? So, a regular animal walking around has a gid hanasheh, it's going to be forbidden to eat the gid hanasheh. Why would you think that just because you consecrated that animal, now it's designated as a carbon, that the gid hanasheh would become permissible? That was the Gemara's question yesterday.
