Shiur Baruch Hashem who have been giving shiur over the past couple of days. Really there's a great zechus to begin the new parac with you today. And imyerta Hashem, truly looking forward to seeing everyone in person on Thursday morning Rosh Chodesh Elul imyerta Hashem b'alenu letova. So today's daf is kuf dalet, 104. We are picking up imyerta Hashem at the Mishnah on kuf gimmel amud bet, 103b. The Mishnah says as follows, "Kol habasar asur l'vashel b'chalav." You are not allowed to cook any meat with milk "chotz mibasar dagim v'chagavim." With the exception of the meat of fish and grasshoppers. So again, the Rashi points out over here, "Kol habasar asur l'vashel b'chalav." The "asur d'Oraisa d'Rachmana gidi." Remember, even though when the Torah speaks about the prohibition of milk and meat, it says "lo s'vashel gidi b'chaleiv imo." Gidi is a kid, right? A goat, a lamb. Nevertheless, "v'hadin l'chaya v'l'of." "U'mefarkin gidi." But again, so what the Mishnah is coming to teach me is although the prohibition of basar b'chalav, meat and milk, is phrased as referring to an animal, a but l'maaseh again it applies to the mishna saying it applies it applies to behemas, to chayus, and to ofos. The only thing it doesn't apply to is the fish and to grasshoppers. Va'asur l'haalos min al hashulchan chutz mibasur dagim v'chagavim. Furthermore, you can't even put milk and meat on the same table together. And the only thing that doesn't apply to is the meat of fish and grasshoppers. So once again, the mishna seems to indicate that halacha l'maaseh behemas, animals, chayus, non-domesticated animals, ofos, fowl, are all prohibited to be mixed or to be consumed with milk. And not only that, you can't even put them on the same table together. Daf of kuf dalet 104, one more illustration of this.
