thank you for joining me thank you it really it really means a lot uh um i'm so happy to see you doing well and uh during this difficult time i just want to get started let's um let's talk maybe a little bit about give your background a little bit for anyone that doesn't know you and and just to give a just a brief background of you know what you're doing and who you are really sure sure okay so my name is ben sion gladscope i grew up in cleveland ohio i went to most of the standard yeshivos i went to most of the standard yeshivos mir lakewood smika from the mir ended up becoming a rabbi at a very young age i was 21 years old i was the rev of the algod park after about six years i moved to perth amboy new jersey where i was the rug of a school there for three years and then at the age of 30 i retired from standard robonus and i moved to california to ucla to the campus and i became the to ucla to the campus and i became the campus rabbi i lived there for about seven years from ucla i started opening up other campuses and then we moved back to the east coast i'm one of the national directors for ulami which is an organization that helps people rediscover judaism and jewish leadership and that's my day job in addition i do uh if science explains the the flow of sabori in more detail then it helps us appreciate hashem so that's on the simple level science is very helpful there is a danger and the danger is that science often oversteps their bounds and ex instead of explaining how something works they'll explain why what's the philosophical underpinnings
