Okay. Uh baruch haba'im. Good evening, girls. Thank you so much, everyone, for coming. Thank you, Esther, for setting it up. Hazak ubaruch. Um I believe also tonight's class was for the refuah shleimah of uh Yeshayahu ben Yaffa Sheindel. And as well, Nurani Daniel Dani ben uh Bagumjan Elna refana lahem Elna refana lahem Elna refana lahem. V'achli mem v'achzikeim v'havrieim v'hazineim b'toch am Yisrael. v'hazineim b'toch am Yisrael. Refuat hanefesh refuat haguf v'chein yehi ratzon v'nomar amen. So >> [clears throat] >> we're here tonight to try to get some chizuk in tefillah. Tefillah is a big part of a Jewish person's life. Al shloshah devarim ha'olam omed. The Jewish world our rabbis tell us right in the beginning of Pirkei Avot stands on three things. Money. No, I'm kidding. Al haTorah Yeah? Next? Avodah and gemilut chasadim. Okay? Definitely good idea to take notes. And uh I don't expect everything that we say to resonate with everyone, [clears throat] but if you take maybe one idea and it could help you with tefillah I think we would all benefit, myself included. Try to take something from tonight. But our rabbis tell us that the world stands on three things: Torah, Avodah, stands on three things: Torah, Avodah, and Gemilut Chasadim. We know Torah, what that means, learning. And Gemilut Chasadim we know is chesed. And there's Avodah. And Avodah means prayer. Pasuk says u'l'ovdo b'chol l'vavchem. You have to serve Hashem with all your heart. And what does Avodah mean? And what does Avodah mean? Work. Avodah is work. Work is hard. Tefillah is not something that comes easy. If you struggle with tefillah, you shouldn't feel like there's something wrong with you. That you're the anomaly. I don't connect. Either I don't pray cuz I don't feel it or I do pray but I still don't feel it
