educator in jerusalem and abroad for 25 years with students all over the world she's a published author editor and translator but teaching torah is her first love thank you so much for being here please tell us more about yourself and what you do okay jump right in um actually i do i do run a women's learning program so that takes up that's the bulk of my time and energies but i also do a lot of pastoral counseling which is part and parcel of working with souls working with human beings is that you can't just teach torah but you wind up getting involved in people's lives yeah so um that also is a big focus i mean i'm a mother of six and a grandmother of three and i'm married to my husband for almost you know 30 years i mean it's 27 years now hashem we live in you shalom um in giulia and uh you know so that's like you know on the family end of things but uh like for example i just now finished a session um doing supervision for a program for women who are learning to be pastoral counselors which is a totally new experience for me because you know it's something that i entered into over the course of almost three decades it's something that i've been learning as i've been going because i was kind of thrust into the position of having to provide um assistance and guidance to students and their families and their you know to couples and you know like that just expanded expanded from the time i was in my early 20s and and then i was asked to this year to provide uh supervision to women who are learning to be pastoral
