Is there such a thing as a Jew who is so bad that you cannot find one positive thing about them? And what happens if that person is standing trial? Possible the Rambam paskins in the laws about the Sanhedrin, the highest court of the Jewish people, which of course includes the laws of the general courts, if you had a Sanhedrin that immediately went to the perspective in a capital case, and everybody said that the person being judged is guilty, that exonerates him. The only way that you can actually get a conviction for a capital case is you have to have at least some people who speak in this person's defense, and then they are outvoted by a majority of people who say that the person is guilty, in which case that person is killed. Where did the Rambam get this from? The code of the Rambam who begins with Sanhedrin is right at the beginning of Sanhedrin which says that it says that the Gemara says Sanhedrin shall call on the choir, if the entire Sanhedrin only saw the guilt of an individual, we excuse him. We we uh exonerate him. My timer, there the Gemara says what's the reason for doing so? So, seeing as we have a tradition that you're supposed to keep the decision you deliberate over a case, but you keep the ruling until you've slept on it in order to find potential ways to uh excuse the person to to defend the person. They don't need to look at the law and these people who've already reached the point that this individual is unanimously guilty, they will not find therefore the
