let us start off with some words of the prophet the laws of lashon hara laws of being careful how we speak about other people beginning of chapter that just like it is forbidden to speak badly about somebody else pertaining to laws pertaining to laws between man and god the same thing pertains to speaking badly about somebody who does not act favorably towards man and man for instance you saw ruvain who was approached by shimon and shimon asked ruben could you give me a loan i need some money to borrow would a loan i need some money to borrow would you lend me some money and reuven we know has the money he's not a poor man and he spends money very easily lavishly there's plenty of money and he says the shipment no i don't feel like lending you the money no good reason it's just like he's not a nice guy he's not a benevolent he's not kind there's no excuse you're not permitted to go and tell somebody else ah that ruvain such a stingy guy he asked them for a loan shipment they wouldn't lend him the money that is pure simple plain russian horror it might be true it is true but as we know things that are true certainly let's say the person himself shimon to let's say the person himself shimon to go and say you know it reuben i asked him for a loan he wouldn't give me a loan he for sure is not allowed to go and tell other people because not only is he transgressing against the law of horror saying he wouldn't lend me the money but he's also transgressing another law the sitar you're not allowed to keep bad feelings to somebody who did something bad to you he didn't really do anything bad over here by the way he didn't do anything
