you know the the holy works by the great spiritual masters of our tradition made a very big deal about what's called in Hebrew H or H which is preparation it's a tradition from the bov that the preparation for a Mitzvah or a is even more important than the itself just the preparation for it now obviously on one hand we prepare practically perms coming up people are hosting perm sudas you're trying to figure out you know different different elements that we need in getting the shus together and and all that is is true and that's physical PR uh practical preparation but the B was speaking about spiritual preparation and that's something that you don't necessarily have to do person can just jump into purm Without Really preparing or thinking about it in any kind of more spiritual or any deeper way you just go into it you make sure that you have what you need practically for the enjoy your p and was always looking for things that Jews are interested in taking on that are extra but that demonstrate the willingness on the on the part of that Jew to to not just do things by the sort of letter of the law but to really get into it because it's our whole life it's our whole life and when something is precious to you you go the extra mile and you don't just want to do it just on the surface to you know like they like in England they call it ticking boxes
