Rebbi Yochanan Ben Zakai Teaches What To Do When The Multitude Doesn't Listen

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Daniel Glatstein’s own words— taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

Okay, good morning everyone. Okay, we're going to see the from the safer. On the Gamara and on the second. About the Gamara tells us. On getting involved. That when Zachary met up with Vespasian as when Zachary met up with Vespasian as Caesar. So there's some more information given in to Nassan. That when Vespasian came to destroy them. He asked them that they should send him a bow or an arrow. And he'll leave. And. They responded very harshly. And made the same request and they didn't listen to him. Basically did not want to start up with the Romans. He wanted to make peace with the Romans. He wanted to make peace with the Romans and the said let's attack. In any event the Gamara says. Hashem. Put the idea in his mind he should leave the city and meet up with. The Caesar made up with the Caesar. The Caesar heard that Zachary. Is a friend friend ask anything you want. Anything you want. Yavneh. All I want is Yavneh. I just want a place to learn and to dive in. And I'm going to do all the mid-slices. Now. What do we learn from the request of Zachary. >> Let's say you see that your words are not being effective.
