6:30 AM, Simchat Torah, and in Sderot, hundreds of terrorists enter, dozens of them into the Sderot police station. At first, the officers don't yet realize how many terrorists have entered the station, and one of the officers who went in to protect, to storm, and to recapture the station is Bar Mansuri, and we came here to hear from her the story of Bar's great miracle at the Sderot police station that Shabbat. At 6:28, heavy shelling towards the Gaza envelope. I send a message to the shift commander, Eliyahu Michael Aro, may he rest in peace; I send him reports, like, giving me reports on impacts. There was very, very heavy shelling. He also called everyone to the station. After a few minutes, when a report came in about a terrorist infiltration in the Zikim area, actually at 6:44, I understand there is a terrorist infiltration in Zikim. I put on my uniform, I put two magazines in my vest, and I don't even say goodbye to the children so they won't see me in uniform. I care, I didn't want them to see me in...it's not a picture of a mother. And I enter, actually, I leave Nir Am, from Kibbutz Nir Am towards Sderot. I hear shots, whistling from every direction, "Red Alert" without stopping. In my head, I see an accident, accidents, accident after accident after accident. Overturned vehicles, no, like this, not an eye, not...I can't understand, the brain refuses to process what it sees.
