the experience of disappointment is a horrible revelation in the life of the human being disappointment is a fracture and the experience of the beginning and in a sense a pattern that plays out again and again in our lives happens first when as children were filled with dreams expectations hopes what might be and the first subversion of that the first fracture the first hints that not all is As It Seems that not all will proceed in according to the way that we thought it would is the experience of disappointment when children lose trust in adults but a child recognizes that his teachers this teacher is not who you thought he was when a child becomes disappointed and apparent that's a fracture that cuts very deep it's a trauma that all of us experience that cuts to the core of our psyche of our consciousness because a child believes that his parents are superheroes Perfect People and a moment of disappointment is a moment where the joy and the excitement of a beginning [Music] itself rats self is looked back upon with scorn okay how could we have been so stupid how could we have been so foolish it's not even that that was a valid experience and now this is another valid experience it's that we look back and there was nothing to be happy about in the first place everything crumbs and the reason this is so traumatic is because this initial experience that all of us have in our own lives each of us will experience this and have experienced this in different ways and there's not one person here that's been free from this experience it's The Human Experience the reason this is so painful is because it begins to cast dispersion on every other future in the beginning because there's always going to be that
