[Music] welcome to another episode of the storm chatter podcast I'm Naki Weinstein short programming note about this episode uh which is about the new English edition of the marim uh there will be a follow-up episode later this week discussing this new English edition that will be a sort of review uh comment on this Edition that will be with rabish Burton this episode is with the editor of this new and translator of this new edition Professor Len Goodman this episode of high esteem by R and a true as whose two best friends retia and EMS after his passing his family established the Shalom Jacob Memorial Institute to continue the great work the Shalom dedicated his life to The Institute is currently working on several projects which Shalom was focused on at the time of his P Shalom had a particular appreciation for the manuscripts of treur grenki a towering and it was responsible for bringing several of his manuscripts to Life The Institute is currently working to publish a second volume of among other of and I'll mention that the uh new discussing his brand new complete in one volume new English translation of ramim the guide to the perplex a new translation uh he actually did this together with uh Philip liberman and this translation is published by Stanford University press I'll say right at the outset the list price is $50 it often goes Less on Amazon which is for one volume and a hard cover is excellent and also he also published together with that a companion volume titled a guide to the guide to the perplexed a reader companion to my Moni's Master work also
