What’s said in this shiur
The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Yaakov Klein’s own words— taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.
Such a a privilege and an honor to be able to learn together in preparation for you know the taught that the preparation for a mitzvah is somehow in a certain sense even more important than the mitzvah itself. The mitzvah itself you have to do and the mitzvah is what it says in the book but the preparation is what demonstrates just how much we want it that it's not simply we're sufficing you know you prepare a little bit for we heard about the cheesecake ready and all the meals and all the prep and then but what does it mean to come a then but what does it mean to come a week before and to invest time that is no about this you know which is such an incredible thing it's incredible investment and it demonstrates that we're in this for more than just taking the boxes. And sometimes it it feels a little bit like what's our place? little bit like what's our place? And I say our I meant hour, but in a way I have six sisters. I'm only one brother. So I'm like honorary, you know. So, so what's our what's our place in? How is different than simhas? If you think of it, right? Two y to that are celebrating Torah. On a surface level, Simhka's Torah is about the learning of Torah. We complete the Torah, we immediately begin the Torah again. And it's a very lewood oriented. It's all
