You know, last week I spoke about um the demise of Queen Elizabeth II and I spoke a lot about, you know, what I thought it all meant. And uh suddenly uh the concept of Britain, Great Britain, you know, England and so on, you know. So, I I thought it would be an interesting opportunity to just continue that thinking into certain ideas that people don't realize about the concept of royalty. And I wanted to compare that to the Torah's idea of royalty. Uh you see. And um I I can start Well, before I start the lecture actually, uh this year should be a merit for the health and success of the families of Regina Bas Yosef Ruvein and Yeshayahu ben Yisrael. You know, there's something that we can ask. You know, we know that all every society What What is a society that forms a country or a nation or whatever? Well, it's a group of people that have decided that there's a lot of commonalities between them. And that's really what unites them. And that they want to be, you know, live together. They want to um be involved in similar activities as as a group. And that group is really a nation. But we know that every nation needs a government. You see, it needs uh you know, some type of an official legal body that in many ways will control the what goes on in the nation, especially uh when nations have to live by the rule of law. Cuz if not, then it's what's called in Hebrew hefker. And uh it's very dangerous.
